Thermco foam is injected directly into the CMU block, and will improve the R-value of your exterior CMU block walls by a factor of 9.  The R-value of the block will increase from 1.27 to 11.5...that's a significant improvement in your insulation value.  The reason is simple - CMU block walls are a terrible insulator, and when you fill the cavities with foam you now have an excellent insulator.  The injection is generally done from the exterior of the home, and after patching is completed by the BioGreen team, all you have to do is a little touch-up paint and you won't know the work was ever done.
